Mode Of Action:
Ketorolac Cox বা Cyclooxygenase কে inhibit করে prostaglandin তৈরি হতে দেয় না।
Mode Of Action Ketorolac
Dosage & Administration
Tablet: Adult and child over 16 years: 10 mg
every 4-6 hrs (elderly every 6-8 hours), 40
mg daily; maximum duration of treatment 7
days.
IM or IV Inj.: Initially 30 mg every 4-6 hrs as
required (up to every 2 hours during initial
postoperative period); maximum 90 mg
daily. duration of treatment 2 days.
For Children: Not recommended under 16
years of age.
Used in special groups:
Pregnancy & Lactation
Ketorolac tromethamine should be avoided because it may
cause premature closure of the ductus arteriosus. US FDA
pregnancy category: C
Use caution when using ketorolac in nursing mothers, especially
with the injectable drug.

Side effect:
The most commonly reported side effects included chest pain, weakness,
shortness of breath, problems with vision or balance.
Contraindication:
It is contraindicated in patients with previously demonstrated
hypersensitivity to ketorolac tromethamine. It is contraindicated in patients
with active peptic ulcer disease, in patients with recent gastrointestinal
bleeding
